Chrissy Metz Says People Fear Discussions About Weight In The Latest Issue Of Wrap Magazine

Hey curvy girls all over the world,
This week, “This is Us” star Chrissy Metz was featured in a spread for The Wrap magazine. The spread features Chrissy in gorgeous gowns rocking a tiara and a sash that says, “This Is Me.” It seems like Chrissy Metz has become a star overnight but we all know that is never true. For the latest issue of Wrap magazine, Metz opens up about her road to stardom. She shares her journey from spending part of her childhood in Japan to moving to Gainsville, FL.

In addition, Chrissy also talks about some of her previous roles before This Is Us. She also played the “Fat Lady” on Ryan Murphy’s show, American Horror Story. After that role failed to take her career to the next level, she was on the verge of giving up. That was around the time she got a call from the writer and creator Dan Fogelman  of This Is Us. The rest is history.

When it comes to the issue of weight, Chrissy had this to say:

“I think we fear what we don’t know,” Metz said. “The show is educating people in that people who are overweight don’t just sit in a corner eating themselves into oblivion. The food is the symptom, it’s not the issue. When you put the food down, the issues come up. And that’s what we need to be talking about.”
