Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Big box store Target is becoming more known for its epic designer collaborations than its deep discounts on daily household items. Every spring and fall season they announce a new fashion collaboration that sends shoppers into a frenzy. Remember people went nuts over their Lilly Pulitzer collaboration. Well, prepare to lose your mind over their Victoria Beckham collaboration. Yes, posh spice will be teaming up with Target. The Victoria Beckham Target collection will be available this April and will include plus sizes.
Just a few years ago, Victoria began making a name for herself in the fashion world with her name sake label. She designs the most exquisite sheath and shift dresses for women whose style is chic and sophisticated. In addition, her pieces also fall under the luxury price tag. One of Victoria’s dresses can run you over $1,000.
Now that she’s taking her designs to Target, there will be no need for you to drop rent money on one of her pieces. You can buy an entire wardrobe of her pieces from Target. The most exciting news about her collection for Target is that it will include plus sizes. Yup! For the campaign and look book, model Candice Huffine is showing off a few pieces that will come in plus.
In an interview with Refinery 29, Victoria Beckham told them how excited she was to be able to include plus sizes. She said, I want to design for women no matter their budget, age, or size,” Beckham told us. “I want to empower women and girls, and make them feel like the best versions of themselves. The fact that I can offer plus size is really exciting, it’s a first for me, and it’s something important that I’m proud of.”
The collection offers a slew of dresses, pants, skirts, and tops in classic silhouettes, and light spring colors. The collection will also include kids.
Plus sizes will go up to a 3X and prices will range from $6-$70. The collection will hit stores on April 9th. You can checkout the full collection HERE
