Hey curvy girls all over the world,
In the blink of an eye we will be smack dead in the middle of winter. I’m talking 5 feet of snow and frost bite temps. To keep myself cozy, warm, and still looking cute, I buy items that are functional yet stylish. Sometimes, here in NYC that winter weather can get out of hand so I need items that can handle the harsh cold weather. Most importantly, I need those stylish and functional items to be affordable and not leave my pockets with a hole in it.
A couple of weeks ago, I checked out Sierra Trading Post for some stylish and affordable winter gear. To my surprise they had everything from shoes and clothes to luggage. I even got excited when I saw they offered plus sizes up to 2X and a size 20.
I was mostly attracted to the boots and cold weather accessories. Their boots are super cute. One pair that caught my eye were on these Franco Sarto suede ankle boots with fringe details. They go up to a size 11 and are under $100. It’s hard to find real suede boots with leather lining for under $100. These boots are $59.
No winter look is complete without a fab pair of gloves. While I want cute gloves, I also need them to keep my hands warm. You will not believe it but I found a pair of hand sewn curly shearling gloves for $60. I mean these gloves will keep your hands warm even through an unexpected snowball fight or if the temps drop to -0 degrees. Your hands will be warm because of the shearling lining and the luxe look of the soft suede exterior.
If I’m looking to add a little feminine charm to winter look, a hat is something I reach for. Not just any ole hat. I like hats with a little sophistication and class. To my surprise, Sierra Trading post had the cutest wool felt floppy hat with a braided trim.
In addition to a chic hat, I like to wear a fun pair of shades during the winter. Especially for those bright crisp sunny days. I like styles with a print. These retro inspired Tom’s bellini shades also have a modern look and goes with just about anything. Plus they’re under $40.TOMS Bellini Sunglasses
So, there’s no reason to skimp on style when the weather gets colder. Sierra Trading Post has so many affordable options.
