STYLE JOURNEY: SPORTY CHIC

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

I have been loving the sporty chic look and have been longing to come up with my own version of it. As I always say, my style is normally classic and sophisticated but I like to incorporate trends into my wardrobe. To come up with my own sporty chic version I knew I needed atleast one key piece and that was these side panel striped pants from Simply Be.

They just screamed sporty. When I incorporate trends, I like to make them my own and make them work for my life style.I like the color contrasting look and I love color, so to create a ensemble befitting of my style, I paired the pants with a color contrasting blouse also from SImply Be. As I looked in the mirror, I felt something was missing and of course, it was color. Since it has been breezy the last couple of days and it is the offical start of fall, I thought a light weight biker jacket was needed to make my look complete.

As much as I love red and black together, I equally love blue and black as a combination. I thumbed through my closet and pulled out this cobalt blue biker jacket I scored during Eloquii’s going out of business sale. I slipped on a pair of strappy black sandals because  it was still warm.
