Have you ever been intrigued by an article of clothing that wasn’t necessarily your taste? Lately, that’s what’s been happening to me. I think my style is organically starting change. For the past month, my eye has been attracted to pieces I wouldn’t normally wear. I’ve been giving in because sometimes when you go outside of your comfort zone, things work out for the better.
Case in point, this check print midi dress from ASOS Curve. I have been eyeing this dress since the beginning of May and couldn’t figure out why I liked it. For me, the print was intriguing. You guys know my favorite prints are leopard, polka dot, and stripes. Checkered, not so much.
However, I was attracted to the color and the shape of the dress. It seemed so modern, classy, and sophisticated. I decided to get it and if it didn’t work out, then I would just return it. Once I received it and tried it on, I thought it was the perfect spring to summer dress.
It was a little chilly this weekend, so I threw on a cropped leather jacket for warmth. However, it was sunny, breezy, and 70 degrees, so I slid my feet into my go to strappy sandals also from ASOS Curve. Popped on some gold accessories from Forever 21 and I went on with my day.
