Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Last week, I was invited to Carmakoma’s spring 2015 presentation, right here in NYC. For those of you that don’t know, Carmakoma is Danish company based in Denmark. They made a long trip to NYC to show off pieces from their spring collection. The host for the event was no other than sexy plus size model Fluvia Lacerda who also models for the brand frequently. The spring 2015 collectuon is everything that you would expect from Carmakoma and more.
There’s gobs of classic and fun prints, lace, denim, and tweed. There was a pair of cute lace trim animal print shorts that I just can’t wait to get my hands on. They added a little flair to their denim pieces by producing a quilted denim cropped jacket. For the body con lovers, next season you will see a striped black and white curve skimming dress and hip hugging skirts. Influenced by the disco era, there were uber sexy metallic skirts and slinky tops. One of my favorite things about Carmakoma is how they incorporate sophisticated polished pieces like printed pant suits and charming floral printed dresses.
