Hey curvy girls allover the world,
Every season there is a trend or two that re-surfaces from fashion’s past.
Some trends we are excited to see return, like peplum, and others we hope will never return. For those of you who remember what fashion was like in the mid 80’s to 90’s may be surprised to see the return of acid wash jeans. Yes, you heard me right. Acid wash jeans are back. There have been quite a few of late 80’s to mid 90’s trends to make a successful comeback. Remember Balmain’s triumphant revision and reprise of shoulder pad-esque blazers and jackets? Then there’s also leggings, which are still gong strong. Leg warmers made a mini comeback but I think we sent that trend packing back into the past from whence it came.
Like any trend that’s reprised from the past, there are certain updates to obviously make them more modern and wearable in today’s world. There are some acid wash styles that are not as loud and harsh looking to the point that you look like a former band member of Guns and Roses. There are some that are more refined and will actually have you giving a second look.
With that being said, I pose this question to you, acid wash jeans, should we take it or leave it?

I will rock a pair…if I find the right one. Also, it can take a modern feel if styled correctly.
I think it all depends on what you wear with them. I think they can look nice if done well
I like seing them in ither people but they make me nervous for myself. These thunder thighs would be doing THE MOST in acid was jeans lol

Sorry, I’d have to leave these in the past. I’d rather rock a pair of two-tones or bubblegum jeans. Yeah, I’m old -> grown, lol.
I definitely would rock these with some platform wedges or booties and a solid colored top …cute contemporary styled look
