Hey curvy girls all over the world,
A few weeks ago, I featured this studded sweater dress by Michael Kors as a SC pick of the day. I was eyeing this dress for a while but I was waiting for it to go on sale because I don’t pay retail price for clothes. It just doesn’t make any sense. The item will literally be on sale in 2 weeks. I saw this particular dress on Bloomingdale’s website but it was still full price. Then, I happened to be doing a little lunch break shopping and spotted this dress in the plus size section of Lord & Taylor on 5th avenue in NYC.
I saw a sale sign near it that said 25% off and I snatched it up, especially since I also had a 20% off coupon from L&T too. I love, love, love this dress. Its so comfortable and it keeps me warm. It skims over my rolls and dips, plus the studded detail gives it that extra umph. I’ve worn it out to dinner, for drinks, and even with flat boots on the weekends. Its that versatile.
I don’t get much wear from my white peacoat that I scored at Old Navy, so I decided to put the two together to create a dashing look.

As for accessories, I went with two silver pyramid cuffs, and a pair of hoop earrings. I completed the look with a pair of red suede pumps from Guess, and a red lip called Currant,from Black Opal (get it here).
