Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I hope everyone enjoyed their fashion’s night out, I know I did. I have to admit that I did get tired early and did not make it to all the events I planned to. Nevertheless, check out pics fromt he events I attended.
At 6 pm I headed over to Avenue on Third ave and Lexington. It was packed in the Avenue with shoppers and corporate staff there greeting guests.
Avenue had stylist Jacqui Stafford (Remember her from Self magazine?) I had the opportunity to chat with Jacqui and ask her a few style questions. Her main advice was embrace your curves, your body, and wear the size that you are. Do not pay attention to the size on the tag. Where what fits you and don’t be afraid to try out the trends.
Then I headed downtown to 34th street to hit up the JCPenney and People Style Watch’s Miss for a Must. This event was pretty cool. You brought in an item from your closet that you thought was a miss and received a $25 JCPenney giftcard to purchase a hit. They had yummy cocktails as well as little cakes and pies for their guest. I managed to pick up a wool floppy hat with my giftcard.
Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen were there looking super chic.
Headed over to Macy’s and on the first floor I spotted Carson Kressley and Shaun Robinson dishing fashion advice. Security was tight so I tried to get a few close up shots.
I came to Macy’s to see Rachel Roy and I thought I missed her. Turns out I was on the wrong floor and there she was getting paparazzi picks with Amare Stoudemire.
