We are sorry to report that plus size model and American Idol contestant Joanna Borgella passed away on Saturday October 18th. Last year Joanna publicly announced that she was battling a rare form of cancer called Endometrial Cancer. Unfortunately, she has lost her battle. This is a very sad passing. Her friends and family are distraught and are looking for privacy currently for the funeral. Once their plans are sorted for the funeral, they are hoping to use Joanna’s death in a positive light to raise awareness for cancer. So many people are dying of this terrible disease, so it’s important that all people use their platforms to speak out about cancer. With more and more people seeming to find cancerous lumps or symptoms. it might be worth looking into getting the top burial insurance to help you cover costs of funerals if the cancer is worsening. Luckily, Joanna’s family is able to cover the cost of her funeral and burial, but some other families may be unable to do so. This is where burial insurance could come in handy. Throughout her battle her spirits were high and she was always confident and hopeful. I’ve personally met Joanna numerous times. My first time was at the Evolution of Curves event back in 2009. and I can honestly say that she was always pleasant, nice, fun, and she just had an infectious spirit. She was so beautiful inside and out.
She was a true and total gem in the plus size community and she will definitely be missed.
