If you’re on the smaller spectrum of plus, then this is good news for you. In an attempt to become more size inclusive, retail brand Express has extended its sizes from 00-18. For years Express has offered sizing up to a 14. Adding an additional two sizes is truly a step in the right direction. However, plus size consumers want a full plus size line. A lot of straight size brands have been testing the waters with plus by offering extended sizes up to an 18 and sometimes 20.
For plus size women it can be a bit frustrating to see a brand offer larger sizes but still be limited with their sizing. Here on Stylish Curves, we do support brands that offer extended sizes because there are so many women who do fall in between. 15% of our readers fall between a size 14-18. Our hope is that the brands who aren’t going full blown plus will eventually do so.
Now that they’re offering two larger sizes, they have been working with plus size models like Jordyn Woods, Paloma Elsesser, and Tara Lynn. In addition to models, they’ve also tapped a few plus size influencers to help promote the new sizing.
As always Express offers on trend clothing that is stylish, feminine, and sexy. This spring there is a slew of floral printed dresses, off the shoulder styles, blazers, skirts, and pants. Checkout some of the pieces that caught our eye below. Also, we’ve rounded up a few plus size influencers who have been rocking the new extended size pieces.
