Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Happy Friday! We are back with Fierce Friday and today’s fierceness comes from curvy model on the rise Katya Zharkova. She is what some might call the Russian bombshell. Katya was the cover girl for Plus Model Magazine’s November 2011 issue where she worked her curves in a black Dominique Auxilly dress. Katya is a Wilhelmina model and has been featured in Elle magazine, modeled for Forever21 plus, and a host of other apparel brands.

You try really hard with your fashion. Sometimes less is better and the over kill with the red lipstick isn’t fashion forward for you111
Be careful before posting pictures because some of your clothes are too tight and don’t look appealing.

Thanks for your feedback but I am going to beg to differ with you on some of your points about my fashion. I’m assuming that you’re a new reader or just browsed through my blog. So, here is where I disagree with you:
1. I don’t try really hard. Everything you see me wear on my blog is what I wear on a daily basis. I don’t try to do anything extra for the blog, I simply share with my readers what I wear. If I did specifically do something or tried something different I make it clear and ask for feedback.
2. If you followed my blog on a regular basis you will know that I am a firm believer in less is more. Most of my clothes and how I put things together are simple nothing is ever over the top.I wear alot of classic pieces.
3. As for the red lipstick that is solely your opinion. I personally like how the red lipstick looks on me. Which is why I wear it alot. However, I understand if you don’t. It is your opinion. I don’t wear red lipstick to be fashion forward. I wear it to embrace my dark skin complexion and dispel those old school thoughts that dark skin women shouldn’t wear bright lips.
4. I am always careful of what pictures I post on this blog because I am aware that I do have readers who care what I say and think. As for my clothes being too tight, I’m going to have to say a big NO to that. I often buy my clothes a size bigger and have them tailored when needed. That’s not to say I have never worn anything on this blog that wasn’t a little snug. I’m quite sure if you familiarized yourself with my blog a little more you would see that about 90% of what I have worn on this blog is not too tight.
Further more, my style and my blog has been featured in one of the top magazines in the country (Essence). I have also been featured on numerous top fashion websites on the internet, one of them being Glamour magazine, so there are people who dig my style. If you are not, I get it and there are no hard feelings. Just don’t read my blog and please atleast have the balls to not comment anonymously.
