Hey curvy or should I say Kurvy girls all over the world,
I was able to get a look at the Kardashian Kurves plus size collection via Sears website.Right now, I have mixed reviews as far as presentation goes. The line is brand spanking new as of this week so they only have a few items on the website. I’m sure they have more in store. With that being said I really wish that designers would honestly take the time and money to create an honest campaign and look book when creating plus size lines. I feel that people just bank on using the word plus and think that’s all they have to say to get us in the store. When Kmart came out with their plus size line LYS, they did a video, created a stylish look book and campaign that actually made you want to buy what they were selling. I was hoping for the same thing with the Kardashian Kurves line. After a model search for their denim, I just new that they were going to have a sassy little look book or stylish campaign to debut the line. Well, I was wrong. Sadly, what we have so far are just dresses on non-plus size models and and a few pairs of jeans .
As far as the styles go, they are cute. The dresses do look like pieces we would see the sisters in and the blazer and the heel printed blouse are cute as well. The price range is not typical Sears pricing. Dresses are retailing for $110 and now marked down to $65. The denim retails for $72 and are marked down to $49. The cropped tuxedo Blazer retails for $110 and is marked down to $65. The heel printed blouse is not available to purchase yet.
Right now the best thing about this collection is that the sizes range from 18-24. I’m going to try to get to a Sears this weekend so I can try on the and give you a detailed report on the fit and fabric. It’s the beginning and I am hoping the collection will grow and maybe just maybe we will get some real plus size models for the clothes. Fingers crossed!
Take a look at the collection for yourself and checkout more pieces at SEARS

I recently started my own fashion blog too! I post outfits almost every day of affordable looks. If anyone would like to check it out and leave feedback I’d appreciate it.

I totally agree with you. It was hard to find online, and I happened to be in the mall and I went to look at it. It was in the corner, so special signage, and it was only a few pieces. Online it’s hard to fit, and there is no fit model… I was not happy about the presentation at all!

Ugh, I feel like the Kardashians always just make something really generic and slap their name on it. The pieces are ok but those original prices are crazy, considering you can get the same thing at any store out there.

That pink tuxedo blazer is cute…and that’s pretty much all I have to say *lol* Thanks for the preview…

I agree…they should have at least some size 10 or 12 models! The pieces are nice but don’t make me want to run to Sears with cash in hand. But some ppl will but just because it has the family name on it, myself not included.

very cute clothes, but I don’t really know how they would look on me….They need plus size models, that would be helpful!

I stopped into my local SEARS today to see if they had the collection in stock. It was available but sadly to say I was underwhelmed. There were only two racks of clothes on whole rack consisting of what looked like Juicy Couture velour track suits. The other rack only had the high heel print shirt (which was available in black/white combo as well as black/pink, a pair of black knit/pleather leggings and a black blazer. While the shirt was very cute I feel the clothes are overpriced for the quality and retail location (I mean seriously it is SEARS!!! Just my thoughts….

The only thing I liked was the pink blazer otherwise why start a plus size line & not use plus size models?!!! I dont understand this at all.

I was stoked about the release of Kardashian Kurves at first until I saw it in my local store… I did take the time to try on just a few pieces. And might I add, they are cut small!!!! Check out my say here: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=416694095044549&set=a.412304265483532.88032.412276542152971&type=1&theater
The only piece I love from the collection of what I did see in my local store was the printed lipstick and high heel blouse. They are gonna have to do better!!!

Has anyone tried out H&M’s plus sized line or Forever 21’s. I want to know how they compare. I live far from any of these locations so I’m forced to order things online. Help out your fellow curvy sista!
