Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Yesterday, we got word that Dorothy Perkins has FINALLY followed in the footsteps of fellow UK brand ASOS and has added a full plus size collection to their brand. Yes! Plus size girls have been long time fans of Dorothy Perkins because they went up to a US size 18. I’ve worn a few of their pieces, most recently a leopard print skirt (seen HERE).
According to Dorothy Perkins, “Adding a considered, curve conscious collection through DP Curve means that Dorothy Perkins is a one stop shop for every woman on the British High street. The signature handwriting from our core collection can be seen in the product offer but we have used advanced design techniques throughout our fit process to design with a fuller silhouette in mind.”
I am hoping that Dorothy Perkins designs the same pieces in their misses line for plus sizes. Many non plus size brands like H&M often make the mistake of creating a plus size line that is bland and boring and they don’t offer the same styles in their main ranges in plus size. All plus size women are simply asking is for these brands to create the same pieces in a size 4 in a size 24.
We have a few looks from the Dorothy Perkins Curve collection and so far so good.
The collection consists of chic separates like plaid, and striped woven shirts, exposed zippered skirts, sleeveless vests, and slouchy trousers. You will also find classic DP body con dresses and flirty skirts.
Dorothy Perkins Curve will offer sizes 16-24 and will range in price from $18-$76. The new Dorothy Perkins Curve Collection is set to hit their website October 8th.
