Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Most magazines will tell you and show you 100 ways to make you look smaller or to tone down your curves. You know we don’t believe that here at Stylish Curves. So, this week we are choosing some of our favorite trends and classic styles that will help you to embrace and enhance your curves.
First up on our list of curve embracing styles is peplum. From the spring runways of Jason Wu to Cynthia Rowley, Peplum was staking its claim as a hot spring 2012 trend. Peplum is not for those people who believe in playing down their curves. This womanly trend is meant to create and endorse a vivacious womanly shape.
In case you were wondering, yes, you can wear peplum if you’re are hippie and yes, you can wear peplum if you have a tummy. Try the trend in a graphic or bold print for a standout look or take the simple and subdued route by rocking an all black pencil peplum skirt with a solid colored top.
Go on! Embrace those curves by checking out some of our favorite peplum pieces:
Feature links: Eshakti Dolce Vita dress, Dorothy Perkins dress, ASOS Curve peplum top, Fashion to Figure lace peplum dress, Dorothy Perkins sleeveless dress, Torrid peplum skirt.
Will you be trying this trend for 2012?
