INSPIRED BY CRYSTAL LIGHT LIQUID’S MANGO PASSION FRUIT

When I first saw the new Crystal Light Liquid bottles, I was immediately drawn to them due to their fun and colorful packaging. I’ve drunk Crystal Light before, but the new flavors sounded and looked like something you would drank on a vacation in the Bahamas. Intrigued by the new flavors, I decided to try one. My Crystal Light Liquid of choice was the Mango Passion Fruit. I was so inspired by the orange and pink color scheme on the bottle that it gave me an idea for a work outfit. As a self-proclaimed fashion lover, I enjoy creating looks that are simple, chic, and pack a little flavor. Recently, I was putting together a casual Friday spring office look and thought I had the perfect look.

 

Since spring is all about color and vibrancy I thought a white blazer, dark blue skinny jeans, and a coral-striped top would be a great casual Friday office look. While putting the look together, I couldn’t decide which shoe to wear. For work, I tend to go for a more sleek closed-toe shoe. I had pulled out my classic suede, pointed-toe black pumps for a put together look, but something just didn’t feel or look right to me. After seeing the Crystal Light Liquid Mango Passion Fruit bottle it gave me an idea on how I could liven up my casual Friday look. This look was calling for a shoe that had flair and color just like the Mango Passion Fruit bottle. I rely on shoes to add vibrancy into my outfits. There is nothing like a colorful or printed shoe to liven things up. I searched through my closet and found, what I thought to be, the perfect shoes to wear with my casual Friday denim look. A pair of floral, coral-colored, peep-toe sandals looked as if they would add life to my already simply casual Friday ensemble. Looking at the tropical floral print on the shoes and all the juicy looking fruit on the Crystal Light Liquid bottle, I was ready to hop on a plane and head to the Bahamas.

 

Once I swapped out my black suede shoes with the floral print peep-toe sandals, in an instant my outfit had flair and became that much cuter. A pair of colorful sassy shoes can take any look from OK to fabulous. It’s funny where you can find inspiration from. I do believe that we all should look for inspiration that will make us want to be a little more daring or add vibrancy and color to our lives. I jazzed up my work outfit with shoes, and that day I walked with my back a little straighter because it made me feel good. Shoes have always been my way of decorating my outfits.

    Unfortunately I think I would be classified as super dull and boring! About the best I can do is a colorful top with my neutral slacks or jeans. Even my jewelry is understated, relying more on texture and design rather than color.
