Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I hope everyone is enjoying the beautiful day. I’m so excited to say that its Stylish Curves 3 year anniversary. Yes! Can you believe it?! I’ve been blogging for 3 whole years. Cue Raphael Sadiqq’s “It’s our anniversary.”
To show my gratitude and thanks to my beloved readers, I have lined up a few giveaways, all starting next week Monday.
As always, I like to keep it real with you. This year has been quite a challenging year for me as a blogger. I’ve had some Hi’s and I’ve had some lows. There was a point where I wanted to stop blogging altogether but every time I tried to give it up, something kept pulling me back in. I enjoy coming up with creative posts to help make shopping for your plus-size body a little easier. I enjoy being able to share with you what’s going on in the fashion industry. Having a platform is so important for people who have not previously been represented online, that is why when we create these pages, whether that is through a blog like this or an Instagram page, we are doing so to connect with our audience. Some will even check out things such as ‘Twicsy buy Instagram followers services’ and other services like it, so they can become more visible online.
At some point this year I lost my way and didn’t like the blogger I was becoming. I even at one point lost my love for blogging. As I am working on getting back to the reason I started blogging in the first place I am truly happy that I stayed in the game for another round. Blogging isn’t just a fun thing to do for some, they see it as a starting point for their business and they want to grow on that so they can make a name for themselves, and potentially start an e-commerce website or something similar by using resources like a web design melbourne company or a company within that vein that is closer to where they are based. On the other hand, there can be factors as to why would someone stick to the game. Well, some may find writing about topics as a therapeutic process while others feel a sense of satisfaction when their content is read by many. Also, the ease of content migration from an existing CMS (content management system) to a different CMS might also be a point why bloggers tend to be in the writing field even when faced with a website malfunction. For instance, if a blogger uses Joomla as their CMS and is faced with a critical website error, they can move out of Joomla and migrate their data to WordPress with the help of professional web service providers. That said, blogging can be hard but it is worth it if you stick at it.
This year I hope and plan to take this blog to the next level. When it comes to blogging, my priority is what you the reader wants, so feel free to drop me an email or comment in the posts on what you would like to see more of.
Thank you so much for sticking with me and shouting me out when you see me in the streets. I am truly grateful for all of Stylish Curves readers. Thank you for sticking with us these past 3 years.
Now, on to what I’m rocking. As seen in my haul video I am rocking the zebra print pants from Kmarts LYS collection. They’re so comfy and nice change from skinny jeans, although I still want a pair of printed skinnies. I was going to wear a black top or blazer with them but decided to amp things up with a red blazer and white v-neck t-shirt. This was a relaxed and casual outfit and I will be wearing these pants to death for the summer. I am already building up my tank collection to rock them with.
Necklace: Forever21

Although I haven’t been following you for three years, I love your blog! I was introduced to your blog through Essence when you was featured. You have really inspired me and help me accept my self more as a dark plus size woman. Keep doing what you do because you never know who you are helping and inspiring.
