Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I am so excited to share with you, that I have teamed up with Playtex again. Two years ago I was one of their ambassadors and now this time, I am partnering with them on something called the “Braclaration of Independence”
When it comes to bras we’ve all bought our share of old grandma styles that push your breast up to your neck and give them that cone effect. We’ve all bought our fair share of bras that have no support whatsoever and leave your breasts hanging low almost down to your knees, and we’ve all bought our fair share of bras that dig into your shoulder or lose its shape after a couple of wears. One of the most annoying things about bras especially if you are a DD or beyond like me, is how outdated, bland, and sometimes just plain ugly some of the styles are. Regardless of your size, bras can be your very best friend or your nightmare.
As a busty girl, I am always searching for great bras and stock up on them when I do find them. However, in this day and age I feel like we should be further along when it comes to style and fit. Women who are in the DD family and larger should be able to shop multiple places for bras that offer quality fit and outstanding style. The whole shopping for a bra process can be frustrating. Sometimes you get a super cute bra but the fit is off or vice verse. Because I belong to the ample bosom committee I feel like we are often left out. Most of the styles that are offered to us are boring and basic and only come in 3 colors, black, white, and beige. Aren’t you tired of that?
If you’re fed up with mediocre bras then join Playtex and me in creating a “Braclaration of Independence.” Share your personal stories about what you want when it comes to bras. Here is my Braclaration:
I want quality bras that have a comfortable supportive fit and just because I was a little more blessed in the chest, doesn’t mean that I deserve whatever I can get. I demand sexy stylish bras that fit my style needs. Give me supportive, plunging and strapless bras, give me feminine prints and fabrics that compliment my ample bosom. When it comes to shopping I want styles that are of this century and styles that allow me to embrace my body. While I love stretch jersey my curves deserve more. I declare no more outdated rules on what a woman should and shouldn’t wear. We can wear horizontal stripes, we can wear mini-skirts, and we can wear all white. No more limitations on what women can wear no matter their shape or size.
