Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Kate Spade’s fall winter collection was filled with lots of bright bold flattering colors for an array of skin tones. Rich greens, neon yellow’s and jewel toned navy blue’s helped the Kate Spade fall collection pop. What I love most about Kate Spade is that the clothes are always girly with a modern edge. I loved the lady like coats that ranged in styles from a green cropped peacoat to a neon yellow single breasted textured coat. A medley of prints and color. Cropped ankle pants paired with printed shirts made for great daytime looks while jeweled embellished dresses and feathered skirts would be perfect choices for an evening event.
Creative Director of the brand Deborah Lloyd has done an amazing job with the brand. In interviews she has mentioned that she travels alot and she is influenced by her travels which were prevalent in the fall collection. I can see her trips to Shanghai and Tokyo got her creative juices flowing. While this collection looks modern and feminine it also had a mod feel to it. It was like 60’s style reborn again but made to accommodate the working woman who wears many hats and has a calendar filled with events. Casual looks such as peter pan collared tops, classic crew neck sweaters, and tweed jackets can fit any woman’s lifestyle.
We loved the whimsical accessories like an over sized fur tote sand Hello Tokyo printed clutch . Throughout the collection you also saw Kate Spade classic accessories, like the boxed handbags. However, the label’s innate use of color, texture, and pattern puts me in a rush for the 2014 fall season to come. I want to wear everything.
Take a look at a few pieces and tell us what you think.

I love the Mod Vibe and especially the green-blue colour combinations. And I am absolutely crazy about the green pea-coat.
