Hey curvy girls all over the world,

Now that spring has arrived all I can think about is outdoor lunches, rocking cute sandals, and wearing clothes that don’t weigh a ton. Once NYC hit 60-degree weather, I was all too ready to push my wool coats and sweaters to the back of the closet. As temperatures rise, I plan to have my wardrobe ready with fun colors, prints, and lightweight fabrics. When it comes to shopping for my spring and summer wardrobe, I shop everywhere. I want clothes that are going to feel easy and breezy.  

This spring/summer season I wanted to incorporate a bit more basic and classic looks. One thing I love to buy is cute dresses that I can dress up or down and I can mix and match with jackets and cardigans. Recently I was treated to shop online at J. Jill, a place I had never shopped before. I’d heard about J. Jill a while back from a friend because she is petite and found that their clothes fit her petite frame well. When I checked out the site, I found that their specialty happens to be simple basic pieces. I also found that they are masters at creating great quality linen stylesIMG_0070I searched the site and found a few pieces that were perfect for the weekend. Since I love dresses, I went for a white, short, linen tank dress with side pockets. This spring, J.Jill is showcasing Linen in a Whole New Light. They have updated their linen collection with fresh details, blended knits and watercolor effect prints that offer new ways to experience their favorite fabric.

What I liked about the white tank linen dress is that it came with a lining, so I didn’t have to worry about it being too see-through and honestly the quality of the linen dress was excellent. J.Jill blends their linen with rayon, which increases softness. One of the good things about linen pieces is that they are perfect on a hot and humid summer day. It keeps you cool. J.Jill offers tons of linen pieces from kimonos, to cropped pants, to oversized linen shirts. I rocked the jacket over the linen dress and added some colorful accessories for a fun spring look.
