It looks like straight sized designers are trying to attract the plus size dollar in every apparel realm. Michael Kors, who is no stranger to making plus size clothing is now dabbling in plus size swimwear. A small collection of shirred bandini tops, skirted bottoms, and printed one pieces in a neutral color palette of black, white and brown. The swimwear line is constructed of ruching and cinch ties at the side. It also includes a printed draped cover up.
These swimsuits are no Monif C or Sorella Swim. Nevertheless, they are universally flattering cuts and the effort to create another plus size swimwear collection is appreciated. I’m sure there will be more styles to come.
