New York & Company Launches Plus Size Collection With Eva Mendes & We Got To Wear A Few Pieces

I have been holding this news for about a year now. Today, New York & Company has launched their plus size Eva Mendes collection. Yup! Plus size women will be able to shop the Eva Mendes plus size collection in sizes 16+-24+ and 1X-3X. Initially, the Eva Mendes collection was offered in sizes 0-20. In addition, you could also shop many styles in sizes XS-XXL. Now, plus size women above a size 20 can rock a little Eva Mendes up to a size 24.

Fans of New York & Company were constantly writing the brand asking for more size options. Upon seeing the success of their petite and tall extensions, they wanted to continue to expand to make the collection available to even more women. I’ve partnered with New York & Company to give you an up close and personal look at the collection and see how it looks on a real plus size body. New York & Company sent over quite a few pieces from the Eva Mendes plus size collection. The pieces they sent are chic, trendy, and tailored.

I took the pieces for a spin in NYC during fashion week. Checkout the looks and my fit tips.

One of my favorite pieces from the collection is this star print Sabrina dress. It hits above the knee and has a loose relaxed fit. The dress has sheer sleeves, a scoop neck, and an inverted box pleat on the back.

Fit: Loose throughout the body. If you have large arms, you may want to size up for a more comfortable fit in the arms.

No Eva Mendes collection would be complete without a wrap maxi dress. Part of the Eva Mendes plus size fall collection is an English tea rose printed Allison Wrap Dress.

This is a true wrap dress with a self-tie at the waist and shirred sleeves. The colors are beautiful and the fit of the dress lays over your curves in a flattering way.

Fit: If you have large breast you may want to size up so the neckline lays comfortably.

Another favorite piece from the Eva Mendes plus size collection is this sleek and chic Ani velvet faux wrap dress.

This dress snatches your waist and hugs your curves in all the right places. It has a very tailored fit, elastic waistband, and a wrap front V-neckline. One of those dresses that is perfect for cocktail parties and events.
