Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I am a crazy fan of ruffles. I’ll admit that sometimes I can pile it on a little too much, but that’s me. Like my earlier post, I do believe a ruffled skirt is a great addition to any wardrobe, especially during the summertime.
I love this skirt because it’s so cute and flirty. I bought this ruffled top for work to tuck into my pencil skirts and thought it would go well with the skirt.
I wanted to add a pop of color so, I went with my yellow heart shaped belt that I bought at ReDress to bring out my girlie side.
What I’m Wearing
Blouse: Loft
Belt: ReDress
Skirt: Forever 21/Faith 21
Earrings: Forever 21
Shoes: Madden Girl

That is too. freakin’. cute!!! I just love the color combination too! And I’m crazy about the belt. The whole outfit rocks.
I love ruffle skirts, but have only one because I get tired of ironing it sometimes. ^_^ But they’re totally worth it.

You are my hero! I bought a skirt with similar ruffles this week and I was a little worried it might be too much with my curves, but you look amazing!

Thanks everyone for your nice comments.
@Anusha-Yes, it takes so much effort to iron ruffles.

Nice outfit however I have a few suggetions: One, I like the yellow belt however I think the width of the belt is a litle ‘super-hero-esque’. I think a thinner or less wide belt, still in yellow or any color, would have dialed up the dainty/girly factor.
Also, the shoes, to me, apear very Victorian era. I would have worn the shoes with a different outfit and instead, for this outfit, paired it with an open-toe/peep-toe high heel or open-toe wedge. I feel as the eye doesn’t know which piece is the ‘look’ and if you’re trying to wear everything in one outfit.
