Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Yesterday was such an amazing day. I was invited by Oprah Magazine and JCPenney to meet The O Magazine Creative Director Adam Glassman. JCPenney teamed up with Adam for a spring into style collaboration featuring JCPenney spring collection. In celebration of the collaboration, O Magazine and JCPenney invited bloggers to see the new collection and get some style and fashion advice from Adam.
There was a line of mannequins dressed in JCPenney’s spring 2016 collection. Adam talked about each of the pieces and how they were influenced by runway designs. He also talked about some of the different collections JCPenney’s has for all sizes ranging from petite to plus. JCPenney also has a plus size boutique for sizes 14-30.

At the end of the brunch, we were able to take a tour of the Oprah Magazine offices. The office was filled with photos of past Oprah covers. We also got to visit the fashion closet, ya’ll know that was my fave place.
While walking through the offices, Gayle invited us into her office and she shared a special story with us about a photo in her office. She said a few years ago, Oprah had a legends ball, where she honored black women in entertainment. Oprah invited the guests to her home which was a house on a hill that had 6,000 trees.Gayle told us that Oprah dreamed of having a house on the hill with trees and now she has that. She also said, Oprah really dreams big and has achieved many of her dreams. It was truly an inspiring story.
