Orange Lipsticks For Dark Skinned Women (Beauty)

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

While I know I have readers and subscribers from all over the world and of a variety of skin tones, today I am sharing a personal beauty video about orange lipsticks. Ever since I saw Solange rock an orange lip a few years ago, I became slightly obsessed with finding an orange lipstick that would work for my skin tone.

That’s not to say there weren’t any out there. There are! However, I had to go through much trial and error to find shades that worked for me. As a deeper skinned woman it can be a task to find orange lipstick shades that flatter. When Lupita hit the fashion and beauty scene and I saw her attend the Hollywood film awards in 2013, she had a very sexy and sultry orange lip. I was slightly mesmerized. It was her perfect shade.

After oohing and ahhing at how beautiful she looked with it on, I knew I had to find my perfect shade and oh boy did I. I found quite a few shades. Below I am wearing Anastasia’s Papaya with a brown lip liner from MAC.

So, today’s video is for my brown beauties who are dying to rock an orange lip this spring/summer season and want to know some shades to try.

The video consists of a variety of lipsticks from drug store to high end brands. Of course these lippies will work for fair to medium skin tones as well. I hope you guys enjoy the video and I truly hope no one takes offense to the focus being on darker skin tones.

Check out the video below. All the shades are also listed below:
