My Go To Summer Dress

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

I’m all about easy simple plus size summer dresses with girly prints. Getting dressed during the summer season should be about ease and comfort. When the heat is blazing and you feel like you’re in a furnace, you want to wear things that are going to keep you cool. While trying to be comfy and cool, I also like to look cute. What girl doesn’t? I’ve been slowly building up my summer wardrobe. White, skater dresses, and girly prints are what I’ve been attracted too. Normally, I am not a fan of white because I am klutz. It’s so easy for me stain white. What I’ve found is that, printed white plus size summer dresses are better. If I get a stain on it, it blends in with the print. LOL!

Found this polka dot dress at Simply Be. It’s one of those plus size summer dresses that take you from season to season. During the spring season, a denim jacket would look great with it.

Fit Details: It has a relaxed fit and a skater style silhouette. Did I mention it has pockets too. Sizing is true to Simply Be’s size chart and its a light weight material. Dress length hits slightly above the knee.

To bring out the polka dot colors, I buckled up one of my fave sandals. A pair of color-blocked B by Brian Atwood heels.

Although I love my heels, I would definitely rock this dress with flats for running errands or just taking a summer stroll. I’m still building my summer wardrobe and will be adding a few more summer dresses to my collection.
