Hey curvy girls all over the world,
It looks like the power of Elle magazine’s Creative Director Joe Zee extends into the world of plus size fashion. In case you didn’t know the second season of Joe Zee’s popular Sundance channel show “All On The Line,” featured plus size designer Qristal FrazIer. You should remember her from BET’s “Rip The Runway.” On Joe’s show, he takes established designers and helps them revamp their brand to become more profitable and more appealing to the masses.
It appears that Joe Zee’s help and exorbitant knowledge of the fashion industry has worked. Towards the end of 2011 it was announced that Qristal Frazier would enter into a partnership with Lane Bryant by selling a collection of pieces at affordable prices. Joe Zee, Lane Bryant, and Qristal Frazier celebrated at the Brooklyn flagship store. I recently visited the Lane Bryant site and saw that the collection was available.
Qristal’s aesthetic as a designers is sexy and trendy. The pieces that are available at Lane Bryant offer a little more sophistication with demure color blocked dresses and a curve skimming jumpsuit. The pieces are reminiscent of Ashley Stewart but with a better grade of quality. Nevertheless, it’s a great and smart partnership. I’m intrigued to see how it will grow.
You can purchase the collection HERE and Also checkout other designs by Qristal Frazier
What do you think of the Qristal Frazier’s Lane Bryant collection?

Meh…looking at her site and then these clothes, I don’t see what the deal is. I’m disappointed…her clothes on her site are hot and sexy. These pieces aren’t reflecting that. Did Joe Zee old lady her clothes up to make them palatable to LB?
