Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Sometimes I wake up in the morning feeling like I have the, “I don’t have anything to wear.” syndrome. Meanwhile, I am looking at an over stuffed closet with clothes literally knocking me in my head because the closet is so jam packed. How is it that as women we all seem to have this problem? Also, why does that problem seem to arise when you wake up late and have about 20 minutes to get dressed just to make it to work on time?
I tried to be one of those people who lay out their clothes the night before but it doesn’t work for me. The next day, I change my mind. I dress according to my mood in the morning, which doesn’t always correspond with what I laid out the night before. Fortunately, I am shopper who believes in the 70/30 rule. &0% of your closet should be classic, stand the test of time pieces, and the other 30% are your fun and trendy pieces. I try to keep my closet stocked with pencil skirts, blouses, and slim trousers for work, because I often get the, ” I don’t have anything to wear” sickness. This morning two classic pieces saved me from being late to work.
Those two pieces are this super fun blue jaguar printed tie neck blouse from Michael Kors Plus. I got this blouse about a month ago at Lord & Taylor on 5th avenue in NYC. They have a great selection of Michael Kors Plus. I was eyeing the blouse for a minute since I don’t believe in paying full price at stores that are known for a quick sale turnaround. It finally went on sale and I scored it for $50. I love the sheer and most of all, I loved the colored leopard print. I went into my closet, pulled it out, and teamed it up with a classic knit pencil skirt, and a classic pair of round toe patent pumps. I was ready in a flash and made it to work semi on time, well, I made it there late but not as late as I would have been if I didn’t have a closet full of classic styles.
Do you suffer from the I don’t have anything to wear blues and how do you combat that? Leave a comment

I really love it the top is on fyah, sheer bold and classy but please tell me where you got that pencil skirt?! I have only 2 really great pencil skirts I got at Lane Bryant and because I am tall a lot of the other pencil skirts I shop for are just too short. If Lane Bryant had one in every color, believe me they would be all mines! You look lovely as usual!
And yes, I am the same way with clothes, the night match up does not work for me either.
