When it comes to prints my go to’s are leopard, stripes, and polka dots. I rarely branch out unless its a graphic print.
So, I was shocked when I liked this chain print plus size dress on the Redressnyc site. As I always say, prints are a personal thing. You have to get what you like because if you don’t you’re going to be uncomfortable.
I approached this dress with caution because of its trendy print. All I knew is that I was intrigued by it and wanted to know what it would look like on.When I got the dress, I was pleasantly surprised at the sleek and sexy fit on my body. It hugged my curves in all the right places. It also has a sexy criss cross back that I love.
My next question was am I going to feel comfortable strolling the streets on NYC in this bold printed dress? Is everyone going to be looking at me? Well, I decided to stop questioning the dress, threw on my spanx, strapless bra, and pounded the pavement early today to take care of some errands. For some reason the dress brought out my inner diva so I put on my new berry rich lipstick from Milani to amp me up.
I slipped on my tan wedges, hoop earrings, and a turquoise bracelet and went on with the early part of my day.
I felt completely confident in this dress and received quite a few looks and a few whispers from men saying, DAMN! That’s when I knew this dress was a keeper. It literally turned heads.
What do you guys think?

I have a question…where did you find a bra to fit nicely under that dress?

I was looking at that dress the other day. Had no idea that it was a maxi (I guess I need to read the details, huh? lolol). The dress definitely frames you very well.

I like the dress but I think its too short. I personally think long dresses should hit at least the ankle. It may have worked better with flats. All together a cute look : )
