I can’t tell you how long I’ve been on the hunt for a white pencil skirt. Why is it that sometimes the most simplest pieces are so hard to find?
Two weeks ago, Custom Plus launched their by Grisel line of basic skirts, dresses, and tops. Think of the line as a plus size American Apparel. I happened to be cruising the site and gasped with glee when I saw this white pencil skirt.
I was like, yes, yes, yes. I found it. I ordered that sucker with the quickness and was so happy with my purchase. The skirt is a thick stretch knit jersey. It’s double ply so you can’t see through it. It fits like a true pencil skirt and hits right at the knee.
Clearly I could have worn it with anything and have.
However, its must something about black and white that gives off a simple yet bold statement, so I paired it with a black lace top from Forever 21.
I normally add a pop of color with my shoes but chose to go for a fuschia lipstick by Fergie for Wet and Wild. I completed the look with a pair of fringe sandals from Shoedazzle.
