Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I love to remix my looks. Fortunately, I am not one of those people who wear something once and can never wear it again. The only time I would do that is if I had a red carpet event. I wore this lace dress back in April on its on with a pair of mint and blue color-blocked sandals (seen here). This weekend, I decided to break out the dress again but add a simple yet cool and casual twist. A denim vest.
I’ve always liked the way you can utilize denim to dress down any look. White and denim together looks so fresh and clean (cue the music for Outkast). I kept my accessories simple by pairing a tan tote from Simply Be with my fave pair of tan ankle strap sandals from Vince Camuto. I added a pyramid studded bracelet and a beige and tan wide width belt.
This look will be a summer go to for me especially on weekends. You know we all have those outfits that stay on repeat. This will be one.

I love this dress and it’s simplicity! It truly is a dress that I could totally see myself just putting on with no ‘extras fixes’ needed. I saw your original post of this dress and I think it’s genius how you restyled; it looks so different, no one would ever think it was the same dress! That’s a great tip to us voluptuous ladies on how to transform an outfit when you don’t always have other clothing options. Your use of accessories really made all the difference and you look great! You turned a great ‘Sunday’ dress into a a sort of South Western ensemble by using tans & that vest; kuddos!
