Hey curvy girls all over the world,
When it comes to plus size coats I have always been focused on getting classic ladylike coats and jackets. I never liked anything else. Even back in the 90’s when bubble coats reigned supreme I never was a fan. Which is why I found it odd that while surfing the Simply Be site I was suddenly interested in an army green parka. What! An army green parka?! That’s not even my style, but for some reason I liked it and I wanted to try it. I knew that trying it meant that I would have to make it my own and wit in a way that was true to my personal style.
The parka is such a manly, shapeless, casual coat that I really wanted to create a young, fresh, and girly look with it. I decided to wear it with another Simply Be item which is the faux leather skater skirt. I wanted to run with the whole green look and layered a white button up under a lime green knit sweater from Loft. To make things a tad bit more interesting I figured polka dot tights also from Simply Be would be fun. I completed my look with a pair of suede ankle boots and a stacked of gold and green bracelets.
I cinched the waist of the coat to give a little more definition. What do you guys think?

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been searching for a cute plus size parka like this, and i didnt even think of ASOS! I’ve also never been on the website that had Fashion Lab and I love it. It has cute, trendy clothes at an affordable price. This was super helpful !
