Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I hope everyone has had a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
I know I didn’t post much last week but I took a road trip to Baltimore to spend the holidays with my family. It’s always nice to take a mini road trip instead of flying. But road trips mean that one has to do all the necessary car checks beforehand, starting from perhaps getting the dents and scratches repaired (probably with the help of firms like RJ Don Panelbeaters who can, by the way, be found by searching for keywords like Body Shop Panelbeaters on the Web) to changing the engine oil. Honestly, I also did the same– prior to the trip, I completed my car checks (always do that before a trip ladies), checked the oil, tyres, etc. what I should have done is put a spare tyre in the trunk just in case I broke down, but I completely forgot about checking out tyres for sale online, I won’t forget that again. Though I’m not the biggest fan of driving, it was nice to feel the wind in my hair along the open road. However, I quickly closed the windows when I realised it was messing up my hair. The drive went better than I thought it would. I think it had something to do with the fact that I had recently decided to renew my car insurance policy after reading something like this zebra car insurance review. Just knowing that I had the relevant protection and coverage (at a good price too) was enough to give me the peace of mind that I needed to jump in my car and to drive all the way to beautiful Baltimore and back with little to no problems at all. I’ll definitely be doing it again very soon. I had such a great time with the fam. However, the next time, I would probably need to repair my vehicle before going on a long drive. My car seems to be breaking down repeatedly even after spending a fortune on it. I had talked to my friends who are in California. They told me that when this happened to them, they took the help of California Lemon Law. But, what is lemon law? (I wondered for a moment about the term)They told me that Lemon laws were designed to protect consumers who had purchased faulty products or products that don’t meet the quality and performance standards advertised. Lemon law pertains primarily to automobiles such as cars, trucks, SUVs, and motorcycles, but it can be applied to other consumer goods as well. After hearing all this, I paused for a moment and thought that maybe I will also have to consider taking about the help of lemon law for my vehicle.
Anyway, now that the weather is getting colder, that means its sweater season. I have gotten a late start on stocking up on sweaters for this winter but thanks to pre Black Friday sales I was able to snatch up a few. For a comfy road trip to B’More I found this super cute gray and yellow striped sweater from the Gap. You know me and my stripes.
I wore it with a pair of gray jeggings and flat boots for traveling but this weekend I decided to switch it up and rock it with my Anna Scholz leather pants that I’ve been wearing constantly and my lace up kick ass boots from Jessica Simpson.
