Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I am definitely one of those people who is affected by what I see on tv. From movies to commercials.Especially commercials. They can be funny or the message can be so powerful that it can literally bring me to tears. Cheesy, I know. However, it is the truth. So, most of you may know that I wear glasses. I am supposed to wear them all the time but I wear them at least 80% of the day. Recently, I watched a Glasses.com commercial that really spoke to me on a personal level. The premise of the commercial was to inspire those of us who have to wear prescription glasses to love our glasses.
The commercial was showing the life experiences of a young girl Eleanor who had just received her first pair of glasses. It showed Eleanor grow from a child to an adult. Eleanor’s life experiences include hiking and backpacking through the mountains. The message in the commercial was that “Glasses help you to see the world” and “The perfect pair of glasses helps the world see you.” Cute message, right? I can also totally relate to it as well. Since, I have to wear my glasses all the time, it’s important for me to truly see and experience my life clearly. Me not wearing my glasses makes everything a blur.

Growing up, I hated wearing glasses. I just couldn’t bear any more four eyes jokes or Sally Jessie Raphael comparisons because my glasses were red. If I were a kid and saw the Glasses.com commercial today, I would have thought it was cool to wear glasses. Man, where were they back in the 80’s?
As I got older, I started to become more comfortable with my glasses. I started enjoying the process of picking out new glasses; liked checking different types of Glasses frames and designs; and just loved overall how I looked with them on. I moved from having red glasses to pink and now I even dig brown specs, which is what I rock on my eyes now. I like rectangular frames, because they show off my almond shape eyes well. Wearing glasses should be fun, guys. Don’t ever feel like you look ugly with them-nope, you look beautiful! So next time you need to go eyeglasses shopping, worry no more.
Glasses.com offers a gigantic variety of prescription eye glasses. They have cat eye’s, rectangular frames and more. I love that they also carry name brand frames too. They deliver quickly and the prices are truly affordable. Because I am hard on my glasses and lose them quickly, Glasses.com is defintiely the kind of place for me. I don’t have to worry about breaking the bank to get a replacement pair and I can switch up my frames without paying an arm and a leg.
If you wear prescription glasses, then you need to head on over to Glasses.com and check them out.
