This summer, the gladiator sandal has returned. Back in 2009, gladiator sandals were a hot trend and I must say, that I am happy they are back. Last year at fashion week gladiator sandals were all over the runway as the go to shoe for summer. I particularly loved the ones on the Altuzarra runway. They were so chic and edgy. Recently, celebrities from Ciara to the Kardashians have been spotted in the hot summer shoe in flat and high heeled versions. I’m particularly drawn to the flat styles but the high heeled ones are pretty sassy too.
