Hey curvy girls all over the world,
It’s Workwear Wednesday! Today we are discussing winter coats that are chic and professional. To be honest you can probably wear any coat to work. However, I do have a pet peeve for people who throw on oversized bubble coats with their work clothes. It just looks weird. Now, if a bubble coat is all you have than by all means wear what you have. If not, its time to step up your coat style for work.
Since we all don’t have 9 to 5’s or work in corporate America, we picked quite a few coats that should fit any work environment. Even if you have a casual office dress code. A coat should always compliment your outfit. No matter what you’re wearing.
Checkout our picks below:
The Tweed Coat
Tweed is a classic. However, go for upgraded versions with interesting details like a funnel neck collar or asymmetrical hem.
The Peacoat
Peacoats are great for people who don’t necessarily work in a professional office atmostphere. I find that peacoats give you an instant polished look even if you wear jeans with it. So, if your style is casual then a peacoat is perfect for your workdays.
The Belted Wrap Coat
Belted wrap coats scream BOSS Lady to me. I love a cashmere wool blend coat to travel to the office. A nice knee length or an ankle length is a great option for dresses, skirts, and trousers. Try one in a rich color for a little drama.
The Printed Coat
Printed coats are fun whether its for the office or the weekend. This season, plaid is the way to go if you’re looking for a chic coat to wear to work. Other trends we think are professional and dashing is leopard print and houndstooth.
While you can wear whatever coat you want to work, I think its always good to have options. So I hope we helped you in finding the best work coat for you.

Joe Browns’ stuff is usually pretty gag-inducing, but that tweed coat is SO cute! Great pick.
