Hey curvy girls all over the world,
We are bringing back Workwear Wednesday. Since I left the corporate world 3 years ago, it’s been awhile since we’ve covered workwear. So, I decided to make sure that we are covering your workwear needs this year. To kickoff this Workwear Wednesday, we are going to discuss bright colored pantsuits for spring.
I’ve always loved a good suit. I remember being in high school and wearing a suit to career day. It was a check print pantsuit with an exposed zipper on the jacket. You couldn’t tell me nothing. I also remember the first time I wore a bright colored pantsuit, it was back in 2012. It was a bright orange wide leg suit from Lane Bryant. The color was glorious. The awesome thing about pantsuits is that they are not only for the office. They’re for everyday events, parties, and even red carpets. Basically, they’re versatile and something every woman should have in her closet. However, this year spring pantsuits have gone bold and bright in color. It’s time to give the navy, grey, and tan suits a rest. It’s time to let the bright colored pantsuits shine.
Designers like Tom Ford, Christian Siriano, and Emporio Armani featured bright colored suits at their spring 2018 runway shows. Now, we are seeing bright colored suits everywhere. Especially in plus sizes. Quite a few brands have produced some amazing pantsuits in bold colors.
We’ve rounded up a few snazzy bright colored plus size pantsuits that you can wear to work or your next daytime event. If you’re looking for a bright colored pantsuit to wear to the office, go for a tailored pant leg in a cobalt blue or red. Try a wide leg pantsuit for an event like a brunch or luncheon.
