You guys know that I am a self-proclaimed shoe-a-holic. I have so many pairs that I could truly become the old woman who lived in a shoe. Spring and summer are the seasons where I probably buy the most shoes. It’s so hard for me to resist sandals. This year, I have slowly but surely been revamping my summer shoes. There are so many cute sandals and pumps out there that it’s hard for me to contain myself because I want them all.
Personally, I love getting new shoes. Who doesn’t? Recently, I added quite a few summer sandals to my closet. Last week I got a pair of sexy snakeskin strappy sandals from DSW. They are made by BCBG Generation and the style is called cashmere. They were just what I needed. Snakeskin is such a popular trend this season. Normally you see it for fall but it is definitely a look that you can rock during any season. When I got the sandals, I knew I wanted them to be the statement piece of any outfit I put together with them.
Right now, one of my favorite clothing trends is the off the shoulder look. I think there’s just something so sexy yet simple about the off the shoulder look. I just bought a cream colored off the shoulder top and thought it would look great with a pair of skinny jeans and my new snakeskin sandals.
The shoes looked great with the jeans and the off the shoulder top. They complemented the entire look very well. DSW always has an abundance of on-trend shoes and a variety of styles and most importantly for me, they carry a size 11 which can sometimes be difficult to find. I felt my look was perfect for the summer. I could go to lunch in it, movies, or visit a museum.
