I’ve had my eye on this striped peplum top from ASOS Curve for awhile. Normally, anytime I see stripes, I have to have it. This particular striped top has wide bold stripes which can be a little scary especially if you have an ample bosom.

I wanted to try the top out and thanks to Gwynnie Bee, I was able to take it for a test drive. I liked how striking and in your face the striped top is. Since it’s such a bold piece, I thought I would rock it with black and red. One of my favorite color combinations.

This red leather skirt is one of the best pieces that I bought from Forever 21 plus. I am always looking for ways to create outfits with it. I thought it would be interesting to pair it with the striped top and patent leather Mary Jane’s. I topped it off with a black and gold statement necklace and my Simply Be mixed media coat.
