Hey curvy girls all over the world,
For the past month I have been using one of the most amazing concealers, I’ve ever tried before. That concealer is Black Opal’s flawless perfecting concealer. As a dark skinned women who suffers from oily skin and dark spots, having a concealer that offers great coverage is a must.Black Opal has been a staple cosmetics brand for African American women since 1994. I’ve always seen the brand in my local drug stores but never tried it.
One day while cruising the beauty isle in Duane Reade, I came across a slim section filled with Black Opal products. My eyes quickly scanned the section and gazed upon what looked like a brown lipstick. I picked it up and it said concealer. I immediately became intrigued by the packaging and decided to give the Mahogany shaded concealer a try. I shared my new beauty purchase with my Instagram followers and they all were confirming that the lipstick looking concealer indeed worked, especially for black women.
For me, a true test of concealer working, means I can wear it alone with no foundation. The next day, I put the Black Opal Mahogany concealer on without foundation and OMG, the coverage was darn near flawless and blended so well with my complexion. I loved it so much that I went back to Duane Reade to scoop up another one just in case they were to ever sell out and not be restocked.
What I love about the flawless concealer is that it goes on smooth and it didn’t feel greasy. It has a buildable coverage and it stayed on for my entire 8 hour day.
The concealer comes in other shades, ranging from Honey, Toast, Tan, Beautiful Bronze, to the deepest shade (my shade) Mahogany. The concealer is beyond a steal at $5.
In the picture below, I SWEAR to you, I am just wearing the concealer under my eyes and on my forehead. I used powder to blend and that is it. What do you guys think?
