Hey curvy girls all over the world,
We are at the tail end of October and retailers are already putting out their holiday styles. I don’t know about ya’ll but I’m not even thinking about the holidays yet. Although, I’m not ready for the holidays I don’t mind looking at all of the snazzy holiday fashion collections. After a successful spring and fall collaboration with JCPenney, Ashley Nell Tipton has just debut her holiday collection with JCP. Ashley Nell Tipton’s Holiday capsule collection will be part of JCPenney’s Boutique+.
Ashley has been a champion for plus size women. Her fashion collections exceed the standard plus sizing from a 24 to a size 30. Most designers and brands stop at a size 3X but Ashley’s collections go up to a 5X. Her holiday collection included.
In an interview with Instyle magazine, Ashley had this to say about her holiday collection, “I wanted to continue the ’50s aesthetic that inspired my fall line but add a touch of glamour for the holiday season.”
Ashley’s holiday capsule collection is made up of A-line midi length skirts, sequin tops, and and a long sleeve faux fur poncho.

Which piece would you rock from the collection

Neither, really disappointed that She won Project Runway with fabulous pieces and now
the items she is making are nothing like the show.
I’m really disappointed that JCPenney wont allow her to be who she is..
Maybe Target should of asked for her to design for there lines, at least there clothes are fashionable. Really disappointed that she won as the first plus size designer and the clothes are so boring. I adore her and I WANT to WEAR HER DESIGNS,

@Nicole, I thought some of the pieces were really cute like the fur jacket and the sequin crop top. I’m hoping too that she comes out with designs similar to what we saw on Project Runway. Maybe for the spring 2017 collection we will see more of the Ashley on project runway .
