Michelle Carter First Woman To Win USA’s Olympic Gold Medal For The Shot Put Competition

Michelle Carter OLYMPIAN

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

Who has been watching the Olympics? I am loving how the women are just killing it. Today, we are super excited for Michelle Carter who just won the gold medal for the Shot Put competition. Michelle also made history for giving the U.S. it’s first gold medal EVER in the  women’s shot put competition. She won the competition with a throw at 20.63 meters.

Michelle comes from a family of athletes. Her father is former NFL player and 3 time Super Bowl champion Michael Carter. Back in 1984 he won the silver medal for the Men’s shot put competition.

This past Friday, Michelle showed the world what she was made of when she had already guaranteed herself the silver medal in the shot put competition. She could’ve stopped there but she didn’t. She brought home the gold baby and the U.S. was proud.

Michelle said, “I knew I had more in the tank,” Carter told reporters. “And to be able to go out there and put the pieces together and pull it out, I’m just really excited.”

The cool thing about Michelle is that she is a certified professional makeup artist. She loves to look good and she won that gold medal looking fantastic with her manicured nails and bold lip color. She made it look so easy.

I don’t know if she knows it or not but Michelle has become a role model for young girls and women of all shapes and sizes all over the world. You can be anything you want and never let anything hold you back from doing it.

She is now the first woman to win the USA’s first shot put competition gold medal.

Congrats Michelle!

Are you guys watching the Olympics?
