My Perfect Spring Plus Size Trench Coat

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

The one piece of clothing I think every woman should have regardless of size, is a trench coat. Besides it being a classic, it is an instant and easy way to make any outfit look polished and put together. When I spied this trench coat over at Carmakoma, I knew, I just knew, I had to have it. Now, I am no stranger to a trench coat. I have quite a few in my collection but this year I wanted trench coats with pretty and bold colors.

 

What I liked most about this Carmakoma trench is that it was collarless. Collarless coats are so modern and chic and different than the norm. Most importantly, I loved the past peach color and thought it flattered my complexion well.

I can basically wear this coat with anything (even sweats) and still look put together. Since it was such a beautiful spring weekend, I wanted to wear the coat with a dress. I chose the pink and green leopard print dress from ASOS Curve. OMG, it is so comfy. I sized up because I wanted a loose fit.

I accessorized with a mint colored necklace from Forever 21, a white skinny belt, and a pair of white nudist sandals from Aldo’s, and my pink Lucite Dolce & Gabbana sunnies. For more color, I swiped on my current fave fuchsia lip from Marc Jacobs.
