When I was in my late teens and early twenties, New York & Company was a go to spot to shop. Being a size 16 at that time, it was difficult finding clothes to fit my curves. New York & Company went up to a size XL and size 18. They even offered those large sizes in store. Which was uncommon back in the 90’s. Ever since they dropped the Eva Mendes collection a couple of years ago, I started checking out their clothes again. Recently, I was browsing their website and saw they added extended sizes.
New York & Company now goes up to a size 20 and XXL. You can only shop extended sizes online. They have a slew of pieces for you to choose from in those sizes. Although New York & Company is a misses brand, offering larger sizes is a step in the right direction. You can shop the extended sizes in the Eva Mendes collection as well.
When it comes to style, New York COmpany caters to the work to weekend shopper. All of their pieces you can wear to the office and still look cute and polished on the weekend. If you have a special event to attend, you can find special occasion dresses there too.
