Hey curvy girls all over the world,
I’ve come to realize that midi skirts aren’t going anywhere and I for one am very happy about it. Now, I love me a good mini skirt but sometimes, I get tired of having to be careful on how I bend down so I don’t expose my goodies. So, thank GOD for the return of the midi skirt. What I love most about the midi is its flexibility. You can rock it with flats and a t-shirt for a cute and simple spring look or you can wear a tough leather jacket and some bad ass boots for a chic fall/winter look. Recently, I was offered to try out a few pieces from Pink Clove as a gift and when I went to checkout the site, I saw this plum colored midi skirt and snatched it up with the quickness.
This skirt gives so much movement. It has an elastic waist and is a fit and flare style. I could seriously twirl in it all day.
Oh and I did twirl.
Since its truly winter in NYC, I decided to rock my midi with a tough leather jacket and a pair of bad ass over the knee boots.I wanted to create a classic look, so I reached for a black and white striped sweater from H&M.
I accessorised with a black scarf from Lane Bryant and a studded belt from ASOS Curve.
I slipped on my favorite black over the knee boots from Wide Widths to complete my look.
I went for a natural makeup look and rocked NYX’s lipstick in Cocoa.
What do you guys think?
