Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Can I keep it with real with ya’ll? I love shorts, I love my legs, but I hate my cellulite. However, I don’t allow my dislike for it hinder me from wearing what I like.
I think alot of women like to cover up what they don’t like. I believe in working with what you got.
So, while I hate my cellulite, I look for pieces that allow me to embrace my body. I go for longer shorts or slightly above the knee skirts to still show my legs and embrace my body.
This week, I decided to throw on an old pair of shorts that I got from Kmart’s LYS line. I like that they were a dressy version of bermuda shorts. I dressed them up with a foil print peplum top from Simply Be (gifted) and a pair of nude and orange ankle strap sandals from Nine West.
Since the look was simple I accessorized with a leopard print skinny belt from Eloquii, a statement necklace, my Michael Kors Hamilton tote, MK watch, and bracelets from Forever21.
My message to you is to not allow your personal body hangups to hinder you from being and looking the way you want.

Has anyone thought of making 2 piece swim suits like they were made in the 1940’s with a boy leg cut for the bottoms?

ModCloth has them from Esther Williams in a nice range of sizes. I just got a cute one with shirring and a little skirted detail at TJ Maxx. They have some cute ones at Shabby Apple too!
