Hey curvy girls all over the world,
Do you ever just stare at your body and admire your best assets? Ever since I was a teenager, I used to look in the mirror and instead of pointing out what I didn’t like, I started really admiring parts of my body that I thought were fantastic. I know it may sound a little vain or narcissistic, but doing that really helped with my self-esteem. My absolute favorite part of my body are my legs. Even before becoming a teen they’ve always been my favorite. They’re long, shapely, and I just find them sexy. Its one of the reasons why I wear a lot of dresses and skirts. Over the years, I’ve learned to accentuate the best parts of my body and work with my least favorites.
So, my least favorite part of my body is my gut. Its the only part of my body that I would actually have plastic surgery on. However, having a protruding tummy definitely doesn’t stop me from wearing what I want. I’ve just learned to work with and around it. I wear belts to help create a waist and I stick with things that flare away from my stomach to create the illusion of a smaller tummy.
As women, no matter your size, we all should be looking at our bodies in a positive way. In all honesty, yes, there are body parts that we want to work on and change, but it’s important to find what you love about your body and accentuate it. For some, it could be their facial features or thinning hairs that they want to restore; however other parts of the body are also significant, and you may find something that you want to keep the way it is. Though, if you still want to change physical features because it can boost your confidence and make you feel better about yourself, then go for safe medical treatments provided by a professional. For instance, you can look for neograft automated hair transplantation or similar hair restoration treatments if you have thin hairs or bald patches on the scalp.
So, what’s your favorite part of your body?
Since the weather is getting nicer, I decided to go for a cool yet cute spring look. You know I love my biker jackets. The beginning of spring is the perfect time for a cute little leather jacket. I love this cobalt blue piece that I got from Michael Kors last year (sold out).
I’ve worn it numerous times with pencil skirts, jeans, and dresses. This time I threw it on over a striped skater dress from Forever 21 Plus. I added a medium wide belt to create a waist.
As for shoes, I opted for a fun pair of fringe sandals that I got for a steal from Shoedazzle.
For makeup, I went with a gold eye and bright pink fuchsia lips. I’m wearing Fergie for Wet N Wild lipstick in Fuchianista.
So, what do you guys think?
