Style Journey: Tie Neck Blouses And Leopard Print Skirts

Hey curvy girls all over the world,

Ever since our tie neck blouse post last month (Read HERE), I’ve been adding a few newbies to my collection. Upon adding some new ones, I realized that I didn’t have any basic colored tie neck blouses. I have printed and bright colored styles but no black or white. I went on the hunt for a white one and believe it or not, it actually was quite difficult to find. Why is it so hard to find basic styles? After some extensive searching, I lucked up and found one at good ole ASOS.

It’s from the Alice & You brand. The reason I love simple basic pieces is because they go together so well with statement pieces. It creates a well balanced look. I teamed up the white tie neck blouse with one of my absolute favorite skirts. A leopard print full skirt that I scored at Dorothy Perkins 3 years ago. It’s still in excellent condition.

I strapped on my fave go to black sandals. It was such a nice day, that I decided to meet up with my photographer Lindsey and take some snaps at Washington Square Park.

To bring out more of the tan in the dress, I grabbed my tan leather tote.

As for makeup, I went with a warm golden brown eye look and a fuchsia liquid lipstick. I accessorized with gold hoop earrings, and a gold watch.

After snapping some picks, I sat my behind down and sipped on some coffee.

And that’s my look.
