Over the past decade Target has partnered with countless designers to create affordable fashion for the masses. This week they launched an entire designer dress collection with 3 female led designer brands. For this diverse collaboration they teamed up with Cushnie, Lisa Marie Fernandez, and LoveShackFancy.
For CEO & designer Carly Cushnie, this collaboration makes her one of the first black women to have a partnership like this with Target. In an instagram post Cushnie celebrates the collaboration by saying, “Thank you to everyone for all your support of this collection and what it means to me as one of the first black women to have this kind of partnership with @target.”
With this limited edition collection Target says, “Our designer partnerships always bring joy to our guests’ everyday life, and doses of daily joy are more important than ever right now.”
Target Designer Dress Collection
All of the designers created beautiful feminine and sultry dresses that are perfect for summer and for transitioning into the fall. The collection consists of 70 beautiful dresses in an array of colors, prints, and silhouettes. For over a year Target has worked with these women to produce a collection that would serve their customers.
Since this is a size inclusive collaboration, all the dresses range from an XXS-3X and a 2-22. These pieces are also easy on the bank account. They’re priced between $40-$60. Target says, “All dresses in the collection reflect Target’s commitment to inclusivity.”
Target designer dress collection launched on June 6th and is available to shop right now. I went on Target’s site to checkout the pieces from all 3 designers. This collection is filled with pretty summer worthy dresses. There’s a slew of dresses with ruffled details, off the shoulder necklines, and sexy thigh high splits.
