Hey curvy girls all over the world,
FFFWeek is fast approaching and there are two designers we can’t wait to see.
First up is:
Former Cambodian model and wardrobe stylist Theary Sim saw the need for contemporary fashion in the curvy community and decided in 2010 to create a line of modern and fashionable clothes for plus size women. “Youtheary Khmer wants every woman to love her curves and can feel beautiful just walking down the street. Our mission is to design custom, effortless looks by providing well-made, high quality clothing that is flattering, trendy, and most importantly doesn’t break the bank.”
The line of trendy threads is affordable with nothing over $100. Sizes run from 12-22 and guess what, she uses plus size models to give you an idea of what the clothes will look like on your body. The plus size line doesn’t stop at clothes but also includes accessories such as chic handbags.

You may have heard and seen some of the designs from MASAARI back in the fall of 2011. They created quite a buzz after an interview with Refinery 29. Well, now, you have an opportunity to see them first hand because they will be showcasing at FFFWeeek 2012 too. MASAARI designs are culturally inspired and cut for your plus size curves. Their collections are heavily influenced by foreign travel which you will see in the diversity of their fabric and print choices. The designer boasts that the Masaari woman is modern day warrior.

Hopefully, you got your tickets for FFFWeek and will be able to see these lines first hand.
